Its outer skin is dark brown, but when cut open, the interior resembles white jade. It has a hard texture, similar to Hetian jade, and feels exceptionally smooth and lustrous, hence its name. Bodhi roots are not tree roots but seeds from the Borassus flabellifer palm, a type of bodhi seed. Over time and with handling, bodhi roots change color and may eventually develop cracks, making them ideal for prayer beads. Bodhi roots symbolize strong, vibrant, and positive life force. It is believed that White Jade Bodhi carries the blessings of the Buddha, promotes longevity, and ensures peace. Regularly wearing White Jade Bodhi is thought to help strengthen the body and relieve fatigue. Ms. Shiori has carefully selected 14 natural White Jade Bodhi beads, each 10mm in diameter, one exquisite and translucent 8mm natural freshwater pearl, and intricately carved hollowed five-pointed Xiu jade. These are complemented by S925 silver components with 14K gold plating, strung together with elastic jewelry cord to a relaxed length of approximately 16.5cm. A natural freshwater pearl and a leaf-shaped Xiu jade dangle gracefully.
