For makeup stains, first, gently wipe with an oil-based makeup remover, then wash with detergent. (Do not use bleach.) If time is limited, place the headband in a laundry bag for machine washing. As this is pure cotton fabric, it "wrinkles easily." After spinning or wringing, be sure to "shake out and lay flat to dry." (Avoid direct sunlight, as it can be harsh on cotton fibers.) * If the fabric is very wrinkled, you can place a thin cotton cloth over the headband and iron it flat at 100°C.
