Indian cotton, linen mix, vegetable dyed, stone washed balloon skirt

This is a somewhat unique skirt with a gentle balloon silhouette. I used a fabric that was a blend of cotton and flax. It has a moderate firmness and is smooth and cool to wear. Although it has no lining, it is not see-through and can be worn alone. The fabric is dyed with indigo and other dyes extracted from plants, and then stone washed to give it a natural look. You can enjoy the deep colors of natural dyes. The use of gathers gives it a balloon-like silhouette. Hand stitching around the waist and pockets adds an accent.
