The ruler surface is blackened and then polished, with the animal motif riveted to the ruler for a refined texture. It serves a dual purpose as both a ruler and a bookmark. ⊕ When reading at home, the animal motif can peek out from the pages, as if a little creature is accompanying your reading. If you're using it in a planner or a book you carry out, the entire bookmark can be inserted within the pages to protect the delicate animal silhouette from bending.
