It's recommended to establish a routine for purifying your crystals, perhaps on the first of each month or during a full moon (the 15th of the lunar calendar). There are many methods for purifying crystals, with detailed explanations available in books and online. While soaking in saltwater is often mentioned, it can damage certain crystals and metals, so I personally don't recommend this method. If you have clear or amethyst chips, geodes, or clusters, you can place your crystals within or on them when not in use. Of course, these cleansing chips, geodes, and clusters also need regular purification, which can be done through sun exposure or moonlight. Personally, I find **smudging** to be the most effective method! You can light sage, dried cedar leaves, dried mugwort, or incense, and **purify with the smoke**.
