Our material kits and finished products exclusively use high-quality top-grain cowhide, specifically a plain-grain finish for this item. If you wish to customize the leather, we can arrange for you to view available options online. Please inform us of your preferred leather type and color, and we will send you photos for your confirmation before cutting. 2 Waxed Thread: The waxed thread included in our kits and finished products is from a branded supplier (authorized use), known for its vibrant colors, rich wax coating, and exceptional durability. We default to the thread color shown in the product images. If you desire a custom color, please specify your choice in the remarks. 3 Edge Finishing: The edge finishing for handmade leather goods, such as leveling, burnishing, and polishing, is typically done after assembly. Therefore, the edges of the pre-cut leather pieces will not be pre-finished. (Our cut edges are already smooth and neat; you may choose not to polish them.) The polishing kit includes a liquid solution. Due to courier regulations and requirements, we do not recommend purchasing this item outside of mainland China; you may find suitable products locally. 4 Engraving Details: Our engraving is done using copper molds, not computer laser engraving. The copper molds have a specific size limitation, accommodating a maximum of 12 characters (including numbers and symbols), which is the maximum possible. Important Notes: 1 Online shopping may result in slight color variations due to screen differences. Please refer to the actual product. 2 Top-grain cowhide has limited water and stain resistance. Avoid contact with any liquids during use and crafting, especially volatile chemical liquids such as disinfectants, alcohol, nail polish remover, etc. The leather in the material kits has been treated with protective oil. It is suitable for normal use. If not used for an extended period, reapply protective oil and store after it has completely dried. 3 If you purchase a material kit, it will include items like leather needles and pins, which are sharp metal objects unsuitable for children under 6 years old.
