Unlike ordinary plastics, cellulose acetate is not derived from petroleum, but from renewable wood pulp or cotton pulp. The renewable material content is more than 70%, which is relatively environmentally friendly. We go a step further by recycling the scraps from the eyeglass frame factory to create an up-cycled final product - the Apple Watch CA Strap. Acetate eye-wear material has good light transmission and a glossy finish, with many available design options such as opacity, gradient variation and much more.
