[Basic stocking days are 7 to 14 working days] "Mo Zhaoru, a famous "cultural man" in Hong Kong. Beginning in the 1970s, he participated in cultural activities in Hong Kong and founded the magazine "70s Biweekly" with his friends. Under the influence of the New Leftist trend, he used Anarchism as the purpose of running the magazine, and held high anti-capital, anti-colonial and anti-bureaucratic. He organized social actions in the form of semi-cultural industrial groups and semi-collective communities, intervening in various social events at the time, and attempting to change various injustice social phenomena under the British colonial rule. At the same time, he and his friends also paid attention to mainland China and criticized the Maoists. Communism is concerned about the human rights situation under the Cultural Revolution. Later, the "70s" finally disbanded, but Mo Zhaoru's social actions did not stop. He took the form of artistic activities-mainly drama-to continue to intervene in society and implement his internationalism. He resisted both capital hegemony and national autocracy, striving to open up a viable third path for Hong Kong society through culture and art. In the past half century, Mo Zhaoru promoted the Anaki social movement in Hong Kong. This book follows this discussion, but its vision is not limited to historical statements. After the Umbrella Movement in 2014, Hong Kong’s thinking about its own identity and future directions has become more urgent than ever. However, there has been not much research and discussion on Hong Kong. Once a deep and extensive discussion is needed, it is discovered that there is a serious shortage of discourse resources. . The hope of this book is to trace Mo Zhaoru's Anarchy art social movement to illustrate that Hong Kong pioneered its own left-wing social movement tradition in the 1970s. While this tradition opposed British colonialism based on capitalism, it also opposed Maoist communism. This book hopes that this exposition can provide a discourse resource for relevant Hong Kong discussions, open up new perspectives, and help other studies to explore the generation, flow and interaction of ideologies such as Hong Kong, pro-China, and nostalgia for British colonization after the Umbrella Movement. 【About the Author】 Yang Huiyi is an associate professor of translation courses at Hong Kong Baptist University.
