Chüden Nima, located at an altitude of 5,000 meters, lies within the county of Gyantse in the city of Xigaze, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. Situated on the northern foothills of the Himalayas, near the Sino-Indian border, it remains a secluded place, embraced by mountains and rarely visited.
According to Tibetan scriptures, in the 8th century AD, the esteemed Indian monk Padmasambhava was invited to Tibet by King Trisong Detsen to spread Buddhist teachings. On his journey back to India after completing his mission, he passed through this area. He meditated in caves at the foot of the mountains Chomo Yumtso and Kangrinboqê in Gyantse County. Later, a monastery named Chüden Nima Monastery was built there, belonging to the Nyingma school (Red Hat sect). In Tibetan, "Chüden Nima" translates to "Diamond Sun Pagoda."

However, slight color variations and subjective differences may occur due to the make and settings of computer monitors or mobile phones. Before purchasing, please take a moment to visualize the item in your space using the photos, perhaps with a ruler to gauge its size, and proceed when it feels right.
Due to very limited staffing, we do not accept returns or exchanges based on the item not meeting expectations. Please message me with any questions; I will do my best to respond. Guests who have messaged before know that I always reply, and am happy to do so – thank you for your understanding.
Finally, ceramic firing involves many variables, and occasional small imperfections or air bubbles that do not affect usability may occur. These are considered normal phenomena. I do my utmost to mitigate these variables during the production process. I look forward to your feedback upon receiving your ceramic piece. See you next time.
