Plants possess a different perception of time than humans. When the meaning of time is reshaped, they too will perceive a world and a perspective entirely different from ours. They understand the concept of "all things as one" more deeply than humans, sensing the flow of existence, the interconnectedness of life and death. Ancient peoples always sought wisdom from tree spirits for their way of life. Unfortunately, due to thousands of years of human societal evolution and arbitrary existence, that wisdom has become buried deep within the forests. In ancient times, people would retreat into caves for spiritual practice, and settlements were built along mountain paths. More often, residents utilized natural crevices or hollows in the rock faces, living in harmony with the mountains. This type of architecture can still be seen in parts of Tibet today. Caves in Tibet have often served as special places for spiritual retreat, where monks would enter solitary confinement, cut off from the world, spending vast amounts of time chanting, studying, and meditating. These are places of profound tranquility, sacred sanctuaries. Such hidden spaces appear in various religious contexts, and what people collectively seek is transcendence, liberation from suffering, and the enlightenment of all beings. I continuously strive to share this form, this goodness, with more people, to introduce them to this concept of an "altar," a "ritual space," the origin of stories. Ultimately, we must all return to our own caves. There, we breathe, waiting for everything to quiet down, waiting for an even deeper stillness, to become quiet. The glaze is non-toxic and safe for food contact. Notes: Dimensions are measured by hand and may have an error of 0.5cm, but I will strive for accuracy.
