Volume: 15ml Paper for Swatching: Tomoe River Paper, White Kraft When writing, it appears as salmon pink, drying to a cherry blossom pink. The edges will form black crystals. Color may vary slightly on different paper types. ************************ Sheen is the metallic reflection that forms as the ink dries. Shading refers to the variations in ink density while writing. Chromatography is the colorful gradient after the ink has been applied. All ink effects are naturally present without external force or dilution. Ink Precautions: This ink is handmade, crafted from scratch using imported cosmetic-grade dyes from the UK. Please understand the characteristics of handmade inks; they will differ from commercially branded inks. If replicated, the color may not be exactly the same. Due to the limitations in preservatives and other additives compared to commercial standards, the ingredients are relatively more natural. Therefore, to avoid contamination and mold, it is best to refrain from directly drawing ink with fountain pens or using dip pens whenever possible. Please be advised that unboiled tap water contains invisible bacteria, which are generally harmless but can cause the ink to deteriorate over time. If you need to use a dip pen, please dry it thoroughly after washing or use distilled or boiled water as your pen flush. ----------------------------- All inks undergo the following tests: Standing → Filtering → Filling an F-nib fountain pen → Standing for one month The images have been adjusted to minimize paper color influence, but ink colors may vary due to screen settings, photography techniques, paper type, and pen width used. Please do not request returns or exchanges due to color differences. ------------------------------ This ink contains shimmer. My handmade inks use pearl powder above 800 mesh, so they may not be as glittery as other handmade inks that emphasize shimmer. Fountain pens with F nibs or larger can be used for temporary filling. However, please do not use them with high-value fountain pens. No binders are added to any of my inks. If you desire a thicker consistency for easier use with dip pens, gum arabic powder is available for purchase in the add-on section. It is common knowledge that shimmer is not recommended for fountain pens, as it carries a risk of clogging. If left unused for extended periods, please clean the ink thoroughly to prevent blockages. If you wish to use it in a fountain pen without shimmer, do not shake the bottle; only draw the ink from the top layer. When the ink dries, the shimmer may rub off upon touch. For finished artwork, it is recommended to seal it with a fixative spray. My handmade inks should not be mixed with each other to prevent precipitation. ----------------------------- The fragrances used in the inks are food-grade flavorings.
