Hsinchu City has rich cultural assets, and each historic site reflects the face of the times. In the early days of the Japanese occupation, government buildings and public facilities were built in response to the needs of governance, and Western architectural styles and techniques were introduced, which became an important node in the development of Taiwan's architectural history. In terms of style, it has gradually developed from Western classical style to Taiwanese eclecticism.

Jianyu makes the four classic Japanese colonial buildings in Hsinchu into collectible lines on paper, presenting them with meticulous gilding—Hsinchu Railway Station, Hsinchu State Hall, Youle Hall and Zoo.
