Luxurious gold plated vintage set - necklace and bracelet - by Monet from “Whirlaire” collection. This collection was advertised by Monet in 1955 Christmas collection. The advertisement is shown in Alice Vega book «Monet. The Master Jewelers». The US Design patent 172,125 was issued on May 11, 1954 to Michael Chernow for “Link chain for a bracelet or similar article”. Approximate measurements: Necklace length 32 cm + 8 cm, weight 75 g Bracelet length 18,5 cm, weight 55 g Signed: Monet (c) The necklace and the bracelet are in very good vintage condition. However, they are pre-owned and pre-loved and may have some signs of time. The Demi-parure consist of adjustable necklace and matching bracelet. The necklace is a chocker style that has adjustable length. The bracelet has security chain that is characteristic for 1940-50’s era high-end jewelry.
