About the materials The cosmos design is made using Mino washi paper (machine-made washi paper) produced in Gifu Prefecture. Mino washi paper is made by bleaching kozo, the raw material for washi paper, thoroughly over a period of time using plenty of water from the clear Nagara River in Gifu Prefecture. Mino washi paper is made by pouring all the bounty of Gifu.
