Speaker: Mr. Lin Taiwei, a new generation collector/player of Taiwanese folk songs
The younger generation of hand-cranked phonograph music masters. On weekdays, I like to bury the first-hand newspapers and magazines during the Japanese occupation period, find first-hand reports, and communicate with the collection. Since 2001, I have fallen into the world of old records. To date, more than a thousand collections have been collected, including Deng Yuxian’s early masterpiece "Dadaocheng Marching Song", which was lost for 80 years and was once thought to be nonexistent, as well as Taiwan’s first record "Open the Door" and the first banned song "Street "The Wandering" and other precious historical materials of Taiwan’s earliest sound. In one month, he wrote 500 entries related to old records for the "Encyclopedia of Taiwan" of the Ministry of Culture, and became the champion of Encyclopedia Month. He hopes to introduce the "historical movement" that the world has forgotten to more listeners. Graduated from the Institute of Musicology, National Taiwan University. He is the blogger of "Peach Blossoms Blooming in Spring" (a total of 1.04 million viewers have viewed it).
Collaborating with designer Guo Wei at Taipei Fashion Week in 2020, the pure singing voice was well received by the cross-border combination of the show.
