I live a quiet life in a small Hualien town, sometimes drawing diligently, sometimes not; living days that are sometimes full of wonder, sometimes filled with despair; sometimes I like to draw people, and sometimes I absolutely must draw animals; sometimes I want to illustrate a story, and sometimes I simply want to complete a picture without much of a story. About this book... I really enjoy drawing pigs, rabbits, geese, and mice, so I was filled with joy while illustrating this book. The animals, like children, possess a pure heart, close to the source of 'truth'. Although wolves are often notorious in many stories, either as villains or as unfortunate figures, in this book, the wolf is as kind and lovely as the other animals.
