Material Description: The heavily used 14k gold-filled material in the mixandfun design studio is a layer of 1/20 14k gold plated onto a brass surface. This is a popular and relatively easy-to-care-for material in recent years, maintaining its color for longer and being more accessible in price compared to solid K gold. Solid 14k gold, on the other hand, is entirely 14k gold throughout, containing approximately 58.5% gold with the remainder being silver, iron, or copper. For Taiwan's climate, this material requires even less maintenance and offers a more refined color. It is also a consideration for those with sensitive skin. Custom alloy is another material we frequently use. mixandfun carefully selects unplated chains and applies special plating, ensuring the color remains durable under normal wear conditions. Wearing Precautions: 1. It is recommended to put on accessories after dressing and remove them before changing into loungewear at home. Wearing jewelry while bathing, or soaking in hot springs and swimming, is strongly discouraged. 2. For earrings, it is advised to attach the included silicone stoppers to minimize the risk of loss. 3. Given Taiwan's warm and humid climate, if accessories are to be stored for an extended period, gently wipe them with a soft cloth before placing them in a sealed bag. 4. For delicate chains, make it a habit to clasp the ends together when removing them to reduce tangling. 5. Please understand that 14k gold-filled, solid 14k gold, or custom alloy materials will show signs of wear over time. 6. A small care tip: If you notice any oxidation on your jewelry, don't panic. You can fill a bowl with water, add a little salt, and a small piece of aluminum foil. Submerge your solid K gold or sterling silver jewelry for about 10 minutes, then remove. It should typically regain its shine. (Material compositions may vary slightly between brands). It is recommended to start with more affordable silver pieces. 7. You can place solid K gold or general alloy jewelry in your palm, dip an old toothbrush in a small amount of toothpaste, and gently brush for about half a minute.
