We do not recommend using ceramic ware in electric steamers, microwaves, ovens, or over direct heat. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking or damage, unless the item is specifically made from refractory clay (like a clay pot). 2. For tableware, please rinse and clean off any surface dirt before first use. Clean with a soft sponge or a gentle scrubbing pad and mild dish soap. Avoid using abrasive materials like steel wool, which can scratch the surface. Afterward, wipe dry with a cloth and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent mold. 3. This cup can be used for hot water and food. The glaze surface may develop fine cracks over time with heating and cooling cycles, which is a normal characteristic.
