The material is pure cotton fabric, which "wrinkles easily." After de-hydrating or wringing, be sure to "shake it out and lay it flat to dry." Please dry the item in a shaded area. Direct sunlight can cause the fabric fibers to become brittle. Machine washing can easily cause wrinkles. You can place a thin cotton cloth over the hairband and iron it with a 120-degree iron. !!
