We will take a train to visit Suao, Luodong, Yilan and Jiaoxi. After the development of Yilan's trade, we will enter the life track of Yilan people. We will listen to the story along the railway and come to the Suao transfer station. Before the electrification of the railway, every train car that comes to Suao needs to turn here. In 1919, after the opening of the Yilan County Railway, Suao became an important transportation hub. The market after the ship entered the port was more lively. The early Suhua Highway was single-line and open during the day. Therefore, most people would buy or stay in Suao. Suao brings a thriving business opportunity. In 1980, the North Link was opened to traffic, and passengers could directly take the train to Hualien and Taitung, which made the business circle in front of Suao Railway Station decline.
Then we came to Luodong. The Luodong Forest Railway is the main artery of the Taiping Mountain forest. It carries a precious coffin and is exported overseas. When the railway is open to traffic, it is also the distribution center of the Lanyang Plain.
