Rutilated Quartz Pillar Pendant, crafted with 999 silver (some structural components are 925 silver), overall dimensions 42x50x12mm While the selection of mineral specimens is often guided by serendipity, fate, and my personal aesthetic preferences, it’s undeniable that as a craftsperson, when I acquire raw stones that have been cut, polished, and finished, I inevitably consider the practicalities for future creations. However, the raw mineral specimens that come into my possession have never undergone this deliberation. They were chosen purely because they resonated with me, their natural characteristics captivating my attention. Therefore, pieces that feature raw minerals as the main stone are genuinely cherished offerings. For me, each is a unique encounter, and I hope that by giving them new purpose as a piece of jewelry, they can forge new connections and destinies. For this piece, I’ve chosen small pillars of rutilated quartz. Beyond the clearly visible rutile inclusions resembling golden threads, the natural growth patterns of the pillars and the small crystalline structures on the sides are also fascinating. One side even has small crystals containing tiny rainbows, though they weren't captured in the video; I'll try to get a supplementary shot if the opportunity arises! To complement the raw mineral's inherent form, I've incorporated decorative elements resembling vines entwined around a branch, or perhaps the base of a mineral deposit. The setting is minimally structured, yet meticulously secured to ensure stability, preserving the maximum viewing space from every facet and angle. ❖ Please note that pendants typically do not come with a chain. I am currently curating a selection of suitable chains and anticipate offering them as an optional add-on service soon. In addition to commercially available silver chains, I also recommend pairing rutilated quartz pieces with stainless steel chains, especially those with a silver patina treatment, as their tones harmonize beautifully. ❖ Product photos are primarily taken in natural daylight. Dimensions are listed as Length x Width (x Thickness). ❖ Minor indentations or cut marks on the wire may occur during the wire wrapping process due to hand manipulation. These do not typically affect the overall wearability of the piece. ❖ "Artistic Copper Wire" refers to craft wire consisting of a copper core with electroplating and a protective coating. "Red Copper Wire" and "Brass Wire" indicate bare copper wires (without plating). Sterling silver wire will be specified as 925 or 999 silver. ❖ Natural stones may inherently exhibit characteristics such as internal cloudiness, natural lines, or mineral inclusions. Minor imperfections from drilling or polishing may also be present. ❖ Shipments are sent with simple, protective packaging, including clean anti-collision materials and a shipping bag. A sealed bag will also be provided for convenient storage. 【Artistic Copper Wire Wrapped Jewelry】 ❖ Artistic copper wire is specialized craft wire with a copper core, electroplated and coated for protection. With proper use and care, its color can remain vibrant for several years. ❖ Due to the electroplating and protective coating on the surface, please avoid using silver polishing cloths or toothpaste for cleaning, as this can rapidly degrade the plating. ❖ After wearing, gently wipe the piece with a soft cloth to remove moisture (especially sweat) and store it in the provided sealed bag. ❖ It is advisable to avoid wearing these pieces during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as exercise, or while bathing in hot springs, as this can accelerate wire degradation and potentially damage the natural stones. 【Unplated Copper Wire / Silver Wire Wrapped Jewelry / Fine Silver Metalwork Jewelry】 ❖ Red copper wire, brass wire, and silver wire are all unplated materials. Natural oxidation is a normal phenomenon, causing them to gradually develop a patina (antique bronze/silver color). The color changes and rate of oxidation will vary based on wear and individual body chemistry, which is part of the unique character of unplated wire jewelry. Minor imperfections from drilling or polishing may also be present. ❖ The natural stones used in these pieces are mostly semi-precious gemstones. Some may have lower hardness (this will be specifically noted).
