The bail cap is handcrafted, meaning each one will have subtle variations. A distinctive feature of this essential oil bottle is that the Japanese transparent glaze is applied only to the lower half, preserving the natural ceramic aroma diffusion of the upper portion. This design aims to enhance the longevity of the essential oil within. Consequently, it possesses a unique aesthetic appeal in its form and color! As the entire process is handcrafted, it will not possess the flawless finish of machine-cut items. The placement of speckles, the position of the holes, and the overall shape will vary slightly on each piece, but the differences are not significant, ensuring each one is truly unique! It's a personal essential oil diffuser with a wonderful handmade feel. Using a fine-tipped syringe, slowly inject your preferred essential oil along the inner wall (directly against the wall). It is recommended to use a small amount, 0.02-0.04ml. Since the upper part of the ceramic is unglazed, it can absorb the scent, and the diffusion holes enhance evaporation, resulting in a more potent aroma compared to typical glass bottles. The essential oil inside will fully evaporate within approximately a few hours to two days, depending on the weather. Generally, the warmer the environment around the bottle, the faster the evaporation. Once the essential oil inside has completely evaporated, the entire bottle will continue to emit a subtle fragrance for several weeks, depending on the viscosity of the scent product. ◉ How to Clean Your Ceramic Vessel Clean the vessel by pouring alcohol into the opening. On the first attempt, fill it completely with alcohol and then submerge the entire ceramic piece in the alcohol. After a while, you will notice the oil separating onto the surface of the alcohol. After soaking for about a day, carefully remove the alcohol. Wipe the container clean with alcohol and repeat the soaking process with fresh alcohol. The more times you repeat this, the fainter the scent will become, until it is almost undetectable. Essentially, the ceramic vessel diffuses aroma through its unglazed porous structure. With prolonged use, scents can be absorbed into the pores, making complete removal difficult. This makes it well-suited for "maturing" or developing a scent profile over time.
