I found a cute piece of fabric!
The classic pattern of Tatewakumon features the silhouette of a cat.
I'm sure it would look cute if made into a yukata.
But it might be even cuter if it was made into a bag.
So I decided to create a simple tote bag, retaining the bold design of the cloth.
This is a bolt of fabric for a yukata, with thick cotton threads called "Cotton Beniume" woven vertically and horizontally, and if you look closely you can see a checkered pattern.
The back is made of crisp No. 11 canvas.
It can be used reversibly.
A great accent for a simple outfit.
