It is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that joins broken or chipped ceramics using urushi lacquer and gold powder. We use a simplified Kintsugi method for our creations. Unlike genuine urushi made from the sap of lacquer trees, we use new urushi, which is less prone to causing reactions, and brass powder for the gold component.
