Two miles left to the trailhead. So we laughed, with no plan for what came next. We would eventually make it back to the warmth and dryness of home. But until the rain subsided, all we had was this moment. Embracing, we took it all in: the roar of the storm in our ears, the quickening of our hearts, the smell of each other’s wet skin mingling with the scent of rain and damp woods. At night, the bustling centers of these cities are particularly captivating, teeming like anthills, never sleeping! Alexandra loves to travel. These escapes from the everyday nourish her creativity. She enjoys discovering new tastes and scents, as well as meeting new people. “I like to travel alone because it allows me to see things from a different perspective and makes it easier to connect with people.
