Please consider carefully if precise dimensions are critical. ◆ Due to variations in glazing techniques and firing temperatures, every ceramic piece possesses unique textures, lines, spots, and crackle patterns, ensuring no two items in the same series are exactly alike. ◆ The crackles in ceramic products develop during firing. Combined with the natural porosity of the clay, frequent use with dark-colored teas can cause the tea's color to naturally seep into the cracks, enhancing their texture and creating a unique aesthetic. If you prefer to avoid this color change, for light-colored pieces or before first use, we recommend simmering the item in rice water for 20-30 minutes over low heat. This process allows the starch to fill the pores, reducing color absorption. ◆ You may observe small white spots on the bottom of the ceramic pieces. These are remnants of the clay used to support the base during firing. While the product photos show the item in its original state, the white clay on the bottom will be lightly polished before final shipment.
