In a basin, dissolve an appropriate amount of laundry detergent in slightly warm water. This prevents the fibers from becoming entangled. 2. Rinse using the same method until the scarf is clean. 3. Gently wring out the scarf. To dry, lay it flat on a towel or drying rack in a shaded area to air dry naturally. Exposure to ultraviolet rays can cause the wool to yellow.
