We advise against using ceramic ware in electric steamers, microwaves, ovens, or direct heat. Avoid rapid temperature changes to prevent cracking or damage, unless the item is specifically made from fireproof clay (e.g., sand pot clay). 2. If the ceramic ware is intended for serving food, please rinse and clean any surface dirt before first use. Clean with a sponge or soft scrub pad and mild dish soap. Avoid using abrasive materials like steel wool, which can scratch the surface. Afterward, dry with a cloth and air dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent mold. 3. This pitcher is suitable for hot water and food. The glaze surface may develop fine cracks upon repeated heating and cooling, which is a normal occurrence.
