Nestled near the Himalayas, the goats of Kashmir have a unique defense against the extreme cold. In addition to their outer fleece, they grow a layer of soft, fine underdown between their skin and longer guard hairs each late autumn to enhance warmth. This delicate, short fiber is what we call "Cashmere"—exceptionally lightweight, soft, and incredibly warm.

Recommended Cleaning Method
1. Fill a basin with an appropriate amount of detergent and mix with lukewarm water. Lay the scarf flat in the basin and gently press down with both hands about twenty to thirty times. This allows the detergent solution to flow through the scarf fibers, preventing them from tangling.
2. Rinse using the same method until the scarf is clean.
3. Gently squeeze out excess water. Dry the scarf by laying it flat on a towel or drying rack in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays can cause the wool to yellow.
