Tea Bowl

This tea bowl was made on my pottery wheel in Taiwan. I wanted to make a tea bowl that could be comfortably held in two hands. This one feels nice when held that way. As I was throwing the bowl I attempted to add some unique character by leaving some nice ridges in the clay. I hand carved the foot ring adding some more character to the tea bowl. I believe that a good tea bowl should show the hand of the maker. My seal is stamped near this foot ring. Be the owner of an original handmade tea bowl. This one could be yours.
