His verses often infused scenery with Zen philosophy, possessing a profound and ethereal quality within their simplicity. "On the Meditation Room Behind Poshan Temple" is a representative work, conveying a spiritual state of deep immersion in Buddhism and connection with nature. Design Interpretation: The "Path to the Hidden Sanctuary" is not merely a moss-covered trail leading to a shrine; it is also a passage to inner peace. The torii gate transcends its cultural symbolism to become a threshold for the soul. Each step traverses not just shaded paths and stone walkways, but also the fleeting anxieties and worldly dust of the mind. The winding path leads to seclusion, where soft light filters through, as if a gentle spiritual energy flows, inviting one to enter a realm of quiet contemplation. This design features Japanese Podocarpus (Podocarpus macrophyllus) as the primary plant, its delicate, upright leaves and elegant form symbolizing the virtues of a noble person and the cultivation of the mind.
