Over time, due to usage and exposure to air and the environment, it may naturally oxidize, leading to a duller sheen and a deeper metallic color. This is a normal oxidation process. * If your brass jewelry oxidizes and turns black, here are a few methods to restore its shine: - Gently wipe with a silver polishing cloth to restore shine. The cloth will darken with use, which is normal. Do not wash the cloth as it will lose its effectiveness. - Lightly brush with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry. - Wipe with a clean cloth dipped in a small amount of brass polish to restore the brass's luster. Afterwards, rinse with a mild detergent to remove any residual polish and prevent potential allergic reactions during wear. * Preserved flower jewelry is made from fresh flowers and can last over 5 years. Please avoid humid environments. * When not wearing, store in a rigid box.
