Embroidered patches are often called fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery pieces. However, most fabric patches require ironing to adhere them to fabric surfaces or to mend holes. Our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing. They can be applied to smooth, non-fabric surfaces, making them perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use the embroidered patches? Our embroidered patches are simple to use! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick it on. No ironing needed, and it stays put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery thread from direct heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a machine or by hand will also ensure it stays secure! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you're unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand. This avoids damaging your fabric with high heat! 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have sufficient adhesive strength. They are unlikely to fall off when applied to regular smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron and sew for added durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off if washed? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily falling off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend deciding on the placement before sticking. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration! 🏷 Will there be residue after sticking and then removing the embroidered patch? Our embroidered patches have strong adhesion, and some residue may be left after removal. You can use sticker removers or adhesive solvents to clean it. Before using any remover, please check if the surface material of your item is suitable to avoid damage! Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive on the embroidered patch will melt with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove!
