The final gilding process involves hand-painting with 24K liquid gold (genuine gold), followed by a firing process. Artist | Yu Huayu Born in 1980, he became fascinated with hand-thrown pottery during junior high school. After completing his military service, he moved to Yingge, where he studied under masters Wu Guo-rong and Wu Jian-cai, dedicating over twenty years to ceramic creation. He has developed the Yohen Shino, Rock Mineral, and Purple Clay Cloud series, and successfully recreated the firing techniques of Song Dynasty celadon.
