As it's woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are inevitably small "weaving flaws" that may initially look like "frays." These are unavoidable when using old machinery. We make every effort to minimize their appearance through thorough inspections at the factory and careful fabric cutting, using them in less conspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, they cannot be entirely eliminated.
