Brand Story Founded by two sisters, both vegetable-tanned leather designers and handicraft instructors, "Shekinah Handmade Leather" embarked on its journey in 2013. With a studio nestled in Xining South Road, Wanhua, they began a creative adventure with leather. Driven by a passion for vegetable-tanned leather and its unique ability to age beautifully while subtly reflecting the owner's daily life, they continuously developed new products. Moving beyond common items like bags and wallets, they introduced original animal accessory series, pushing the boundaries of leather design with a focus on individual aesthetics. Founders: Jan-Ning & Jan-Ying Jan-Ning, who appreciates the texture of leather, pursued handmade leather creations after graduating from the National Taiwan University of Arts' Craft department. She introduced her sister to leathercraft. Initially, entrepreneurship wasn't the plan, but her sister, with a business background, gradually discovered sales channels through local markets and decided to commit full-time. Together, the sisters have built the Shekinah Handmade Leather brand.
