After numerous samples and considerable effort, we were still unsatisfied, feeling lost and almost ready to give up. However, upon seeing the Opal Green color, inspiration struck anew, leading to this creation. The Opal Green hue is a delicate green subtly emanating from a base of gray and white. It's a uniquely sophisticated color, evoking a refreshing sense of detachment, as if the heat of summer has no bearing on me. The black option is incredibly slimming, effectively concealing any perceived imperfections. The fabric is imported cotton with a superb texture, feeling softly brushed to the touch. This dress is quite fabric-intensive, using several yards per piece. Both colors are personal favorites. This is a dress that can be worn inside out, (Perhaps it's the scientific mind's inclination to explore and delight in functional design within clothing.) Regarding the silhouette: The puff sleeve raglan design features subtle pleats at the shoulders, making it flattering for any shoulder width and forgiving on the upper arms. When the button-down V-neck is worn at the front, it exudes a vintage charm, accentuating the collarbone and enhancing a slimming effect. Alternatively, with the gathered round neck facing forward and the V-neck at the back, it subtly reveals the lines of the back and a hint of the shoulder blades, adding a touch of classical elegance. Two thin belts are included, allowing for various tying styles to create different looks. The generously full skirt flows with remarkable grace when in motion. Initially, I considered shell buttons for the Opal Green dress, but their sheen felt too ostentatious, detracting from the desired understated elegance. Ultimately, we opted for the simple yet refined white seed buttons. The black version features textured horn buttons.
