Card Stand / Hand

The left hand has been transformed into a card stand. Its realistic expression offers a touch of the uncanny, while the miniature size creates an interesting and peculiar balance. When placed on its own, it functions as a decorative object, or as a piece that draws the eye, inviting a gaze. A slit between the thumb and index finger allows it to be used as a card stand. (Thick cards may not fit.) Shop cards stand perfectly, and for larger items like postcards or photographs, attaching them with something like putty to the back will provide stability.
