"Remove moisture" After wearing, hang the haori on a hanger and gently brush off any dust with a brush or a dry, clean towel. Then, air it out in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight for 1-2 days to improve breathability and remove sweat and moisture. Do not fold the haori immediately after wearing it. This can lead to mold, discoloration, or insect damage. Direct sunlight is strictly prohibited. Even through glass, sunlight can cause fading, so do not dry the haori in a location where direct sunlight enters, even indoors. 2. "Good ventilation" is crucial for storing vintage haori.
