This is a five-pen case for fountain pens, meticulously hand-stitched using techniques like the box stitch, which cannot be achieved by machine, and often incorporating fine Italian leathers. The distinctive shape of the case is a hallmark of the box stitch, where leather pieces are joined at right angles. Pens are secured in place by their clips. While designed for fountain pens with thicker barrels, it can also accommodate your favorite slimmer ballpoint pens or pencils. The interior of the case is lined with suede dividers to prevent pens from scratching each other. The tanning process using vegetable tannins preserves the natural grain of the leather. Due to the transparent dye finish, you may observe markings such as "Tora" (tiger stripes) and "Chisuji" (veins or blood lines), which are natural characteristics of the cowhide. These are embraced as part of the leather's unique character and texture. Furthermore, as the leather is dyed, the color may vary between production batches, potentially differing from the color samples. Due to the nature of natural leather, please expect potential color inconsistencies, tiger stripes, or minor scratches, which should be understood as inherent features of the material.
