Residing in Taiwan, Chami works from an old apartment in Taipei, dedicating their life to carving and creating stamps. Previously, Chami worked as an editor for magazines and books in the publishing industry and is now a full-time stamp designer. Each season, handmade original creation stamps are released, with published portfolios numbered 1-8, featuring over 100 stamps in volume 8. Published books include: "A Handmade Life in 12 Hours a Week," "Rubber Stamps, Open the Door!", and "12 Lessons for Beginner Rubber Stampers: Next Stamp Class." Utilizing eraser as the primary material for carving, each stamp is meticulously crafted stroke by stroke on the eraser. Stamp designs often integrate discoveries from daily life, landscapes and encounters during travels, and things cherished with heart (such as text / flowers and plants / geometry / nature / architecture...). These elements are then deconstructed and reassembled, with multi-point line and plane intersections, complemented by minimalist primary and secondary lines, foreign text, and occasionally incorporated component symbols to form the stamp imagery. Chami enjoys pairing stamps and colors, combining the solo performance, collaboration, and repetition of large and small stamps. Many graphic designs are also derived from snippets of stamp prints, extending the design through stamping combinations (e.g., postcards / washi tape).
