Do not apply leather oil directly to the leather item to avoid uneven coloring. 2. Suede/Horsehair Leather: Avoid wiping with water or a damp cloth, and do not use leather oil, as this can damage the nap. Use a soft brush to gently brush along the grain. It is recommended to spray with a dedicated suede waterproof spray before use. 3. Patent Leather: Gently wipe with a dry cloth or use a dedicated patent leather wax. Note 1: The leather will darken after applying leather oil, which is normal. The color will lighten after some time. Note 2: If the leather gets wet, pat it dry with a clean cloth, air dry it completely, and then apply leather oil for maintenance.
