[Washing and Characteristics Explanation] 1. For the first wash, use a neutral detergent and wash several times. You can also wipe the surface with a paper towel dipped in cooking oil multiple times to easily remove any residual gray titanium powder from the processing. Afterward, wash clean with a neutral detergent. Since food-grade oil is used for stamping without acid washing, residual gray titanium powder is unavoidable. This is a safe manufacturing process using non-toxic pure titanium, so you can scrub with confidence. 2. If there are burnt residues or stubborn stains, gently scrub with the coarser side of a sponge or a soft steel wool. 3. If the colored surface of the titanium is scrubbed off, revealing the original color, rest assured that this is not a coating. Pure titanium is safe and non-toxic, free from harmful heavy metals, and can be safely scrubbed. 4. Do not soak with stain removers, hydrogen peroxide, or other reducing acid series cleaners, or sodium percarbonate cleaners, as this will revert the color and luster of the titanium, and it cannot be restored. When items like lunch boxes, food containers, or square pots are initially steamed or washed with food stains, or exhibit large purple-blue patches after washing without heating, or brown patches appear after washing (not rust; pure titanium does not rust), these are characteristics of the metal, or changes caused by our prior firing process. Square utensils, due to even more difficult stress release, may exhibit more intense color changes and are more prone to brown patches. 3. In ovens above 250°C or direct flame from a gas stove, purple-blue changes may occur. The colors will not disappear but will not affect safe use. 4. Large flat shapes are more susceptible to warping with direct gas flame. 5. Pure titanium easily retains water marks, which is a characteristic of the metal. If this bothers you, dry the item immediately after washing to prevent water stains from affecting its appearance.
