As the tanning agents are natural plant-based, it is safe for direct skin contact. Therefore, vegetable-tanned leather is also known as eco-friendly leather or tree sap leather. Its characteristic is its vintage aesthetic; it becomes more beautiful with use, developing a unique patina and signs of wear that many seek. 【Hardware】: Brass Brass, known as "the metal that never rusts," will exhibit varying levels of aged character over time, exuding a unique and captivating charm. 【Important Notes】 1. Vegetable-tanned leather surfaces are left untreated, showcasing their most natural appearance with inherent grain patterns, hairline marks, and minor imperfections. As brass hardware is mass-produced and not individually hand-finished, there may be minor imperfections on the surface, such as pinholes, scratches, or small dings, that do not affect functionality. For light-colored leather items, avoid contact with dark clothing and denim to prevent color transfer. For dark-colored leather items, avoid contact with light-colored clothing. 2. Moisture or water can cause mold or stains on leather products. (If the item gets damp or wet, immediately pat it dry with a soft cloth and place it in a well-ventilated area.) 3. Routine cleaning and care: Do not wash with water or any cleaning solvents. Wipe off dust with a dry cloth, then lightly apply a small amount of leather care oil and spread it evenly over the leather surface. Brass: 1. Characteristics: Durable and rust-resistant, not easily corroded. However, it will oxidize upon contact with air, and with increasing oxidation, black spots and an aged patina will gradually appear. 2. Removing brass tarnish with "vinegar": When black spots on the brass surface become darker or verdigris appears, simply soak the brass in vinegar.
