Cow split velour is made by brushing the inner surface of tanned leather with materials such as sandpaper. It is a leather material with short, soft fibers, offering a unique luster and a warm feel. Please note that, like suede, there may very occasionally be small marks, which are characteristic of natural leather. The handles are made from extra-thick, approximately 3.5mm-thick cowhide shrink oil leather. This rich, oil-infused, multi-fat vegetable-tanned leather is surprisingly soft despite its thickness and develops a beautiful, unique patina the more you use it.
