This is a one-of-a-kind, handmade pendant made from borosilicate glass (heat-resistant glass). The piece features an opal set within a three-dimensional geometric pattern. (The opal is positioned slightly above the center of the pattern.) The colors of the pattern are created using silver and gold. When light hits the glass, the colors of the pattern appear vivid. When light hits the opal, it reflects the light in various hues due to a play-of-color effect. The back of the glass is made of transparent green-colored glass. This one-of-a-kind glass pendant was handcrafted using an oxygen burner to melt heat-resistant glass at temperatures exceeding 2000°C. The heat-resistant glass used is harder and more transparent than regular glass, and its antioxidant properties make it resistant to discoloration and deterioration, while also being lightweight. The opal used is an artificial opal specifically designed for lampwork, which will not break even in environments hot enough to melt heat-resistant glass. The pendant string will be shipped in the same condition as shown in the image. (This is a three-ply cord made of brown waxed cord.) The cord has an adjuster, so you can adjust the length by sliding it. The cord color can be changed to other colors, such as beige or navy.
