Some teas, when stored in a good caddy for a while, become smoother and sweeter. Much like life, sometimes it needs time to gently settle.
This 6-liang small tea caddy is unglazed and purely wood-fired. After days of high-temperature wood firing, natural ash glaze forms a jade-green luster, exuding a tranquil beauty.
This rare firing effect helps tea leaves transform naturally, becoming more fragrant with age.
Capacity: 6 liang
May this unique aesthetic grace your tea ceremonies with every sip, allowing you to experience Xiao Ping Fan's distinctive lifestyle aesthetic in your daily life.
The works from Xiao Ping Fan Pottery are not mass-produced. Each creation possesses a unique concept and design, bringing life to the pieces through pure hand-pinching or wheel-throwing processes. Every piece is one-of-a-kind. Our pottery is created by both of us, hence the "Ping" or "Fan" signature. Larger pieces will bear the "Xiao Ping Fan Pottery" seal, making them truly unique!

**1. What is the origin of the materials?**
We primarily use American clay, Japanese clay, and Taiwanese Miaoli clay for our creations.

**2. What is the wood-firing process?**
American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-pinching (not a potter's wheel) to slowly form the shape. After basic shaping, the body lines are refined, and then polished to complete the greenware.
Once in the kiln, it undergoes a continuous five-day, four-night wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the pieces, forming a special ash glaze. Simultaneously, the flame patterns within the kiln flow among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks.
After five days and four nights of ash and flame interplay, a week of cooling is required before a piece achieves its beautiful form! Each piece is absolutely unique! The high-temperature firing of the traditional wood-firing method imbues the pieces with far-infrared effects, making them very suitable for storing tea!

**3. What should customers be aware of?**
Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. As each piece is purely handmade, it will bear the traces of the maker's touch. Slight variations may also occur during the firing process. Imperfect rims or minor production scratches are normal phenomena and do not affect usability. We appreciate your understanding!
