Pure White Heaven - Fountain Pen White Ink

This bottle is tiny! This bottle is tiny! It's only 5ML! ***************************************** For a long time, I've yearned for white ink for fountain pens. I believe I'm not the only one with this thought. However, all opaque inks are **pigment-based**. (Meaning, if anyone tells you white ink is dye-based, tell them they're wrong!) The pigment particles are even coarser than those in regular waterproof inks, as they need to not only be absorbed by the paper but also "float" on the surface. For this reason, almost all white inks emphasize they can only be used with dip pens. If you try to fill your fountain pen with them, you'll likely end up with a clogged nib and tears! But I refused to believe it was impossible! Because there's something called "white ink for printer inkjet" out there! (The kind used for priming on T-shirts, acrylics, etc.) Printer nozzles are so fine and they don't clog, so why would a fountain pen be afraid? So, I began experimenting. Initially, I bought a very expensive printer white ink. The result? **It showed up completely invisible on paper.** Utterly disappointing... So, I started researching its composition, working backward. Finally! After more than two years, I've created a white ink for fountain pens that is, to me, barely passable. Why barely passable? I'll explain below. Its fluidity is extremely high, so high that it's unusable with dip pens unless you want a blob of ink every few words... Unfortunately, because it's pigment-based, it will still settle. However, unlike other settled pigments, a gentle shake is all it takes to fix it. And any ink already on the nib is fine. Yes, even after two weeks, a shake will make it usable again! But there's a catch: it tends to adhere to plastic surfaces, making it difficult to wash off with plain water. You might need a cotton swab for assistance, so it's best to use a fountain pen that can be fully disassembled to avoid contamination. Another issue is that its color isn't very concentrated; it still falls short compared to milky white pens. **************************************************** Please fill it into a fountain pen with good airtightness, as it's waterproof when dry and difficult to wash. If the nib doesn't write after a while, dipping it in a little water will suffice. ***************************************************** The cost is alarmingly high, which is why I can only sell it in 5ml quantities.
