The Ru ware, historically acclaimed as the finest of the Five Great Kilns of the Song Dynasty, is known for its lustrous glaze and jade-like finish, embodying an elegant and refined aesthetic that was peerless in Song Dynasty fashion.
Our Ru porcelain features appropriate iron content and controlled reduction, resulting in a body of ash-grey hue and a glaze that shifts between sky blue and powder blue under different light sources. The iron-rimmed edge displays a harmonious blend of clay and glaze. The delicate crackles on the glaze resemble fish scales; upon contact with tea, the patterns deepen, appearing even more lustrous.
→ Usage Precautions
Due to the different opening angles of the dripper, when using conical filter paper, remember to fold it a bit more, as shown in the product photos.
→ Glaze Color Description
As our products are more akin to crafts or artworks rather than mass-produced industrial items, the glaze flow varies for each dripper. Each photograph in the product information uses a different dripper to showcase the diverse possibilities as much as possible.
If you have specific preferences, please message us before placing your order. We will promptly send you photos of three to five drippers for you to choose from, minimizing potential disputes.
If no prior communication is made, we will ship randomly. Returns or exchanges due to glaze color preference after receiving the item will not be accepted.

* Dimensions are measured manually and may have an error of within 0.5 cm.
* There might be some marks from the trimming process, as each piece is semi-handmade, exhibiting slight individual variations.
* During the production process, the glaze may exhibit unevenness and flow patterns, which are natural phenomena of natural glazes. This is precisely what natural glazes emphasize—the inherent nature of ceramics. If you have any questions about the product, please message us.
* The product photos were taken in a studio with adjusted lighting and environment, but without any post-processing. Please refer to the actual product color, which will not be considered a defect.
