About Mechanical Watches:
Q: What is an automatic mechanical movement?
A: Mechanical watches are powered by winding. An automatic mechanical movement features a rotor on the back that spins with the movement of your wrist, winding the watch. Wearing the watch for 8 hours or more daily will keep it running for the day. If not worn, it will need to be wound manually and the time reset.
Q: Are mechanical watches prone to scratches?
A: Our watch cases are crafted from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, and the watch face is protected by sapphire crystal, which is second only to diamond in hardness, making it exceptionally resistant to scratches.
Q: Are mechanical watches waterproof?
A: Yes, all our watches offer water resistance of 50M or more, with dive watches rated for 200M water resistance.
Q: How should mechanical watches be maintained?
A: If you do not wear the watch for extended periods, wind it every few days. Prolonged inactivity can cause the lubricating oil to settle, affecting timekeeping accuracy. For optimal maintenance, consider using an automatic watch winder.

A: As all watch components are custom-selected and not reused, we regret that refunds are not provided after the DIY watch assembly.

A: The dial design patterns and text are made using relief engraving with a Chromium alloy.
Q: Can I design a custom pattern besides the ones provided by the workshop?
A: Yes, please send us a private message first, and a specialist will arrange to discuss your custom design. Custom patterns typically require about two weeks for production (excluding design time), so please confirm your timeline and order well in advance.
Q: I don't want to DIY in person; can you assemble it for me?
A: Yes, please visit the Watchmake Factory's Design Studio to design your watch in person, after which our watchmakers will craft it for you.
