About Mechanical Watches:
Q: What is an automatic mechanical movement?
A: Mechanical watches are powered by winding. An automatic movement features an oscillating weight on the back that moves with the motion of your wrist, winding the watch as you wear it. If worn for at least 8 hours a day, the watch will remain powered for the day. If it is not worn for a full day, you will need to wind it and reset the time.
Q: Are these mechanical watches prone to scratches?
A: Our cases are crafted from 316L medical-grade steel, and the watch faces feature sapphire crystal, both of which are resistant to scratches. Please note that black or rose gold models are plated; scratches on these surfaces may reveal the silver base color.
Q: Are the mechanical watches water-resistant?
A: All our watches have 50M water resistance, while our dive watches are rated for 200M. Please note that watches should not be exposed to hot water or steam, as this may damage the waterproof seals.
Q: How should I maintain my mechanical watch?
A: If you do not plan to wear your watch for an extended period, please wind it every few days. Leaving the internal gear oil stagnant for too long can lead to timing inaccuracies. For better maintenance, you may consider using an automatic watch winder box.
